Inviting Axmo

You need the Manage Server permission in a server to add a bot to it.

  1. Open Axmo’s invite link and pick your server.

  2. Keep every permission the invite asks for ticked. Axmo needs them for its plugins:

    Permission Used for
View Channels Seeing the channels it moderates and logs to
Send Messages Logs, ticket channels, review cards and replies
Read Message History /context, /purge and gathering messages for tickets
Attach Files Transcripts, previews and voice recordings
Manage Messages Deleting messages for automod and /purge, and pinning ticket cards
Manage Channels Ticket channels, /slowmode and lockdowns
    Manage Threads /slowmode in threads
Manage Roles /role, /mass role, lockdowns and ticket channel permissions
    Manage Nicknames /mass nickname
    Kick Members Kicks
    Ban Members Bans and unbans
    Time Out Members Mutes
View Audit Log Logging who did what, including actions taken outside Axmo
    Connect Voice recording
  3. In Server Settings → Roles, drag Axmo’s role above the roles of anyone it should be able to moderate. Discord doesn’t let a bot ban, kick, mute or change the roles of members whose highest role is the same as or above its own.

  4. Run /setup in your server.

A few features need permissions the invite doesn’t ask for. Give them only if you use the feature:

Feature Permission Where
Ticket pings to roles nobody can mention Mention @everyone, @here, and All Roles The ticket category
Raid mode stage 3 (pausing invites, verification level) Manage Server Server-wide

Ticket channels take Axmo’s permissions from the ticket category, so that’s where Mention Everyone is needed. The Health check tells you when either is missing.

Discord decides who sees a command in the menu, separately from Axmo’s own permissions. If someone is allowed to use a command but can’t see it, allow commands for their role under Server Settings → Integrations → Axmo.
